A member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod

Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in May of 1979. For two decades our mission has been to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ as a personal Redeemer of all.

Prince of Peace is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.  The WELS traces itself back to German Lutheran immigrants who settled in the Midwest. On May 26, 1850, three pastors met in Granville, WI (just north of Milwaukee), and established what is now called the WELS. The WELS currently consists of 1,250 congregations, approximately 315,312 communicant members and 403,335 baptized members, all united in faith. We have churches in every state and support missions and missionaries in 26 other countries.

We believe that churches are not institutions that exist for their own benefit, but for growing families of people who support and nurture each other from the word of God.

Therefore, we meet regularly for worship & Bible study, for fellowship activities and community outreach, and every expanding ways.
